Wie TechCrunch meldet, wird das soziale Netzwerk „Facebook“ in Kürze völlig neu erscheinen. So wird es leichter seinen privaten Nachrichten ins Internet zu stellen. Wie jetzt der Entwickler Joe Hewitt, verantwortlich ist für Facebook’s iPhone Applikation mitteilt, ist die Anwendung zu 98% fertig. Hewitt gab kein genaues Datum bekannt, die Wahrscheinlichkeit das die Applikation bald kommt ist aber hoch.

• Zoom into photos
• Easier photo tagging
• Profile Pictures albums
• A new home screen for easy access to all your stuff, search, and notifications

• Better Notifications (they link to the comments so you can reply)
• Quickly call or text people right from the Friends page
• Messages you are typing will be restored if you quit or are interrupted by a phone call

Alle diese Neuerungen sind wohl bei den Facebook-Nutzern willkommen, vor allem das man auf Ereignisse reagieren kann. Wie Hewitt weiter mitteilt, werden leider keine Push-Benachrichtigungen mit dieser Version möglich sein – Diese werden erst in einem Update im Sommer kommen.
