GB: Apple lockert Exklusiv-Vertrieb von O2-UK

3g-iphone_TM-ORLaut einem Bericht auf MobileToday vom Mittwoch will Apple den Vertrieb in Grossbritannien ab September lockern. So fallen die seit 2 Jahren bestehenden Exklusiv-Rechte von O2-UK am Vertrieb des iPhone. Nach dem Bericht zu Folge, könnte das 3G von der Konkurrenz in Form von T-Mobile-UK und Orange-UK angeboten werden. Weiterhin bleib aber der Exklusiv-Vertrieb des iPhone 3Gs in der Hand von O2-UK.

Apple is poised to open the iPhone 3G to Orange and T-Mobile in a bid to boost sales. The move is set for as early as September and will end Apple’s two year exclusive deal with O2.

Bleibt weiter abzuwarten ob Apple auch Hierzuland den Vertrieb lockert, wie hier schon einmal berichtet.
